Hummus is a dip/spread that is made from chickpeas. In fact, hummus is the Arabic word for chickpea. It is one of the oldest foods, dating back to ancient Egypt, and is generally served with olive oil.

Tabouleh is a salad made of wheat, tomatoes, mint and parsley.

Foul is fava beans cooked until soft and mixed with olive oil, garlic and lemon.
