Wadi Assal

 

Wadi Assal is a narrow canyon that starts right south of Kerak city, in Kathrabba, to reach the Dead Sea shores. It is a base for Bedouin settlements, who stay for the winter, when the weather is warm (they move to Shobak, where it is fresher, for the summer). This canyon starts with a long dry hike and the first 4 falls are also dry. As soon as the water appears in the canyon, the vegetation covers the place, with beautiful high gardens of trees and plants. There


This is a 16km water way with 8 abseils and a green beautiful moderate hike. are 3 wet abseils.
