This 13 days tour is a complete adventure in Jordan: canyons, abseils, caves, camel ride in the desert and more are waiting for you. You might well build your best memory ever during this fabulous trip! This unique experience is not to be missed under any pretext...

Day 1: Arrival at Queen Alia International airport – Amman.
Our representative welcomes you at Queen Alia International Airport and assists you through the formalities of immigration and customs. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Amman, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Amman – Desert Castles – Beidah Cave – Amman.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a visit of the Desert Castles, legacy of the flourishing early Islamic–Arabic civilization. On the way, you will stop to enter the Beidah Cave, a lava tube formation: the lava once flowed through it. Once the surfaces frosted, the center remained empty, forming a tunnel. There is a small roof that collapsed, forming the entrance through which you will go inside. The regular flooding has filled the tube with debris making the length of the tube no more than 600m but with a second floor and at least 100m of crawling. By late afternoon, you will be transferred back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3: Amman – Umm Qais – Madaba.
After breakfast, you will head to Umm Qais, one of the most brilliant of the ancient Greco–Roman cities of the Decapolis. Once visited its archeological remains, you will go for a hike in the area, enjoying one of the rare green landscapes of Jordan. The Tiberius Lake (Sea of Galilee) can be seen from this place. At the end of the day, you will head to the city of Madaba for overnight.

Day 4: Madaba – Wadi Himara – Dead Sea – Madaba.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wadi Himara. You will hike until you reach a waterfall and get a wonderful view over the Dead Sea, from the top. You will then have the privilege to experience the effects of the Dead Sea itself. Cover yourself as much as you want with its unique revitalizing black mud and let the salty water carry you. Enjoy the incredible buoyancy effect! This day will end by a transfer to the city of Kerak, where you will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Madaba – Wadi Ben Hammad – Dana.
After breakfast, transfer to Wadi Hammad, where you will hike once more in a water stream, surrounded by hanging gardens and small waterfalls. (You can have picnic during the hike) and the dinner will be served in the natural reserve of Dana, where you will spend the night (Dana Village).

Day 6: Dana – Shoubak – Petra.
After breakfast, discover Dana. This natural reserve is characterized by its canyons and sandstone hills, with an altitude varying from 100 to 1500m. The hike today will show you the many wonders of this beautiful wilderness. You will then proceed to Shoubak, the 12th century castle built to defend the road between Egypt and Syria. Finally you will head to a Bedouin camp in Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Petra.
After breakfast, spend the entire day in Petra, renowned as the most famous and the most exceptional site in Jordan. This ancient city is the legacy of the Nabateans, an Arab people settled in Jordan over 2000 years ago. It is today one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. There, you will admire the High Place of Sacrifice, with stunning view over the lower town, and discover many carved facades and the Royal Tombs. For the night, you will get back to the Bedouin camp, where a traditional dinner will be waiting for you.

Day 8: Petra.
After breakfast, explore the site of Petra for a second day. You will at last discover the Khazneh, also known as the “Treasury”, the lower town and the Nabataean amphitheatre. An 800 steps climb will lead you to the Deir, the Monastery, an ancient Nabataean shrine. The hike will continue until Beidah, a Neolithic village also referred to as the Little Petra. After this wonderful visit, you return once more to the camp, for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Petra – Wadi Rum.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to “The Valley of the Moon”. Wadi Rum is the most impressive desert in the world and it gained its fame through its special link with British officer T.E. Lawrence, often referred to as “Lawrence of Arabia”. You will meet there a team of Bedouins, who will guide you during an unforgettable camel ride. By late afternoon you will join a Bedouin camp, were you will have dinner around a wood fire and where you will sleep in a tent.

Day 10: Wadi Rum – Aqaba.
After breakfast, enjoy your last moments in the desert before heading to Aqaba, the seaside resort where fantasy, sun and sea meet the charms and atmosphere of Antiquity. You will have free time there and benefit from a well deserved rest at the hotel for overnight.

Day 11: Aqaba.
After breakfast, you can enjoy the many activities proposed in Aqaba, taking advantage of its clear water and its high quality sand.
